Question Answered

I replaced the bulb I've had in my projector TV since 2011 and the projector works, but the lamp indicator light is red. The indicator light won't reset. The manual says to hold down the volume button and the zero button on the remote at the same time for five seconds. I tried that twice, but the indicator light won't turn off. Asked by Kim A. There are a few solutions you can try if you are trying to reset the lamp hours on your projector. You can try pressing the minus volume button and the PIP or SPLIT button on the remote for 5-10 seconds. If that doesn't work, then try pressing the minus volume button and the MUTE button. Make sure the TV is fully powered on before you attempt the reset. Then try the reset right after powering the TV on and before any menus or inputs are selected. Additionally, make sure you are using the original remote, as some universal remotes don't transmit the right signal for the reset. If none of these solutions work, then you may need to replace the lamp again.
