Are these lamps Optoma originals, which were manufactured by Optoma and identical to the originals? Asked by Rob H. On Feb 18, 2026

All of our bulbs are OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and we use the similar quality lamps as Optoma uses. Optoma uses PHLIPS, OSRAM, and PHOENIX as their lamp manufactures and so do we.

Cons

. I bought a “High Quality” compatible lamp for my UHD38 in October 2025. After only 2,400 hours (just 6 months of use), it started failing with frequent Lamp Error This never happened to me before. I contacted support explaining the exact same usage conditions, ventilation, and settings as before. They refused any replacement and told me that 2,500–3,000 hours is normal. This is also not the expected lifespan. Moreover, the lamp did not start to noticeably dim, and the failure happened right after the warranty period — only 6 months. Very disappointed
